Where you invest in funds, including The SF Funds of Funds, the administration fee charged by the Fund Manager will vary according to the fund chosen. You'll see full details of these fees in the individual Fund Key Features summary.
When the account value exceeds £1,040, the Child Investment Account provides progressively better value for money in relation to the fees charged. Remember, the fee you pay is but one consideration, as you might want the option for a wider investment choice.
When are fees payable?
Our fees are payable each quarter from your account, in January, April, July and October each year; the Fund Manager's charges aren't charged to you separately but are reflected in the value of the units.
What interest is paid on cash in my account?
Interest is paid on cash balances at the Bank of Scotland Base Rate less 3.5% and is credited quarterly to your account.
